16th December - Working on a new version of the previously published "Lights, Cameras, Action" feature from Hawaii's Kona Coast.

15th December - Sport Diver publish Jeremy's feature on Lady Elliot Island, a fantastic little spec of land located at the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

16th November - 2nd December - Our long awaited trip to Papua New Guinea based at the Loloata Island Resort turned out to be "difficult" thanks to Jeremy contracting an ear infection, which meant sitting out almost all of the diving. Amanda was able to do all of the dives but the plans we had were for working together underwater in terms of modelling were completely scuppered. Also, as a result of Jeremy's ear infection, the planned extension to Walindi had to be cancelled.

1st November - The new "Dive Destinations" supplement is published by Sport Diver, featuring Jeremy's article about diving the wreck of the SS Yongala in eastern Australia.

31st October - 2nd November - A ride out on the R1200 GS, this time to Wales and Shropshire.

30th October - Jeremy publishes a PDF document, featuring a selection of images from the Atlantis Dive Resorts at Puerto Galera and Dumaguete in the Philippines - see the link on the homepage to view the document.

29th October - Jeremy and Amanda produce a first proof of a calendar design, featuring a selection of their underwater photography from around the world.

20th October - Sport Diver Australasia publish Jeremy's feature about diving the wreck of the SS Yongala in eastern Australia.

6th October - The new Divequest brochure arrives featuring a number of Jeremy's images.

13th - 14th September - A bit of work on a couple of Wreck of the Yongala features.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

28th August - Jeremy is admitted to hospital in "a bad way" after suffering septic shock and resulting cellulitis, which started with a small friction burn injury sustained in Kauai. After a week of heavy antibiotics, Jeremy was allowed home with further medications. Recovery is measured in "weeks" rather than days and resulted in the Guadelupe Great White Sharks trip and planned UK diving being cancelled.

26th August - Jeremy publishes a selection of images from the Philippines, for the Atlantis Resorts in Puerto Galera and Dumaguete.

25th August - The D200's go in for servicing and repairs after their Kauai batterings, and we're told that our 12-24mm lens is "dead" after getting dropped in a rock pool.

23rd - 24th August - Feature writing, mainly about Egypt and Kauai.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

17th - 19th August - Sad to leave Kauai and homeward bound. Before leaving, we visited Poipu, a coffee plantation and Polihale Beach on the south shore and westside.

16th August - A "last day" boat trip along the Na Pali Coast.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

14th August - Visits to the Kilauea Lighthouse and Wildlife Refuge, Hanalei and Ke'e Beach at the end of the road.

13th August - Jeremy takes Zac tubing. Little did he know that a small "friction burn" injury on his elbow would get him hospitalised "in a big way" a week and a half later.

11th - 12th August - Overnight at Kokee Lodge. A late afternoon walk on the Kaluapuhi Trail and a bit of time at the Kalalau lookouts. Next day, a great trek on the Alakai Swamp Trail, reaching the the end at the Kilohana Lookout.

11th August - The Ja Universe website is featured on the BSOUP (British Society of Underwater Photographers) Website of the Week series.

10th - 16th August - Fitting in some feature writing amongst trips out to the north and south shores.

6th August - Diving Niihau again, spectacular again!

5th August - A diving trip to the renowned Mana Crack area, close to the Na Pali Coast.

4th August - A rare opportunity to set foot on Niihau by helicopter. So peaceful!

2nd August - An early start for a diving trip to Niihau and the spectacular Lehua Rock.

1st August - Tubing in Kauai’s "back country" along old drainage ditches.

29th - 30th July - Overnight at the rustic Kokee Lodge. A chance to visit the Waimea Canyon lookouts, the Kalalau Valley lookouts and the Nualolo Trail.

28th July - A morning of diving on the south shore, visiting Ambers Arch and Sheraton Caverns.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

27th July - A spectacular helicopter ride around Kauai with highlights including the Waimea Canyon, Na Pali Coast and Waialeale Crater.

25th July - An"orientation" drive that took us to Hanalei on the north shore.

24th July - Departing for our long awaited trip to Hawaii’s “Garden Isle” of Kauai.

23rd July - Butterfly Conservation use an image of Zac with an endangered Marsh Fritillary taken at Cotley Hill at Heytesbury, near Warminster in May.

14th - 23rd July - Feature writing based on experiences in the Egyptian Red Sea aboard the Typhoon.

5-6th July - A visit to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on the R1200 GS. We stayed at Oxford overnight and were treated to an excellent wet race won by Lewis Hamilton. We got a good soaking on the way home!

21st - 28th June - We enjoyed a great week in Egypt aboard the Typhoon liveaboard, getting away from the madding crowds and day boats of Sharm el Sheikh. We visited Ras Mohammed, Anemone City, Shark & Yolanda Reefs, Jackfish Alley, the Alternatives and spent three days at Abu Nuhas diving the "famous" Red Sea wrecks of the Chrisoula K, the Ghiannis D and the Carnatic. Look out for the images later in the year.

20th June - Although we're not regular entrants to competitions, we were pleased that both of our images reached "semi finalist" status in the globally renowned Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2007 Awards.

9th - 19th June - Jeremy has a  "last minute" trip to the Philippines, staying at the excellent Atlantis Hotel dive resorts in Puerto Galera (Mindoro) and Dumaguete (Negros). Expect these resorts to feature on the "must visit" lists of many a long haul dive traveller. Look out for the trip images later in the year.

27th May – Received a kind invitation from Brendan ‘O’Brien to contribute a “your story” feature for his new diving, underwater photography and photojournalism website/blogspot. We’ll post another item in this section when the story has been produced and published.

23rd - 26th May - A visit to Jersey in the Channel Islands. The diving that we'd planned was unfortunately "blown out" due to the Bank Holiday weather and a pollution incident in Bouley Bay, so instead we visited Durrell Wildlife (Jersey Zoo), Gorey, Sorel Point, the German Hospital & War Tunnels and indulged in some circumnavigation of the island in our pickup. Zac did plenty of swimming at the hotel. Look out for some of the images later in the year.

16th May - Jeremy & Amanda publish a PDF feature, based on experiences on the Kona Aggressor in Hawaii. It's linked from the bottom of the Hawaii text page in the "Text" section.

8th - 12th May - A visit to Istanbul in Turkey, for the Turkish Formula One Grand Prix. We enjoyed the city and the Grand Prix, but it was surprisingly cold! Look out for some of the images later in the year.

1st May - "Shoot To Thrill Policy" is featured in the latest UWP Magazine.

5th April - First dives of the year at Portland, visiting the Dredger just outside Portland harbour and the Wreck of the Countess of Erne, within the harbour itself. The visibility was non existent, so photography was difficult to say the least, but a good chance to get back into it. Bloody cold, too!

30th March - A day out on the R1200 GS, ending up at Portland, and then to the western end of Chesil Beach near Abbotsbury. Should’ve been diving, really.

9th February - A ride on the R1200 GS to Weymouth and then along the coast to Bournemouth via Studland. Stopped en route to check out Kimmeridge Bay, a place that I hope to dive when the weather warms up.

2nd - 3rd February - Working on a feature commission at home.

25th - 27th January - A visit to London with our son Zac. A few opportunities for some "grab shots" as we took a "flight" on the London Eye and visited the London Aquarium and the Science Museum.

19th January - Planning the diary for 2008 trips, doing a bit of research and generally getting our act together for a busy 2008.

16th January - The 2008 Aquapress Wreck Diving Calendar gets a good review in Sport Diver magazine. Jeremy gets a mention, too.

15th January - A visit to Ocean Optics in London to discuss a few ideas with Steve Warren and purchase some new strobe arms.
