A nice walk under clear blue skies out the back of where we live, which borders Salisbury Plain. Probably because it was in middle of the day, there was surprisingly few birds on the wing, though we did see (and hear) Skylarks, and also a lone Yellowhammer. In terms of butterflies, it was surprised not to see a Brimstone or two on the wing, but I (Jeremy) did spot one the previous day on the wing in Warminster.
