A Wiltshire Ornithological Society (WOS) field trip to Fyfield Down near Marlborough (I went on the motorcycle).
The weather wasn’t fabulous (very grey skies), but an enjoyable day nonetheless. I frustratingly missed a Merlin that whizzed past not to be seen again. Good sightings of Wheatears, Stonechats and Red Kites, plus a Peregrine Falcon. Butterflies included Clouded Yellow, Small Copper, Small Heath, Wall Brown and a probable Brown Hairstreak.
