A convoluted ride into London, via Salisbury Plain, Salisbury, Stockbridge and Winchester. Then a stint on the A272 to Petersfield, then Bordon, Farnham, Guildford and into London past Chelsea, the former Battersea Power Station and Wandsworth, Millbank, Westminster and Covent Garden. Evening spent at Ronnie Scotts seeing jazz guitarist Larry Carlton with underwater photographer friend Chris McTernan.
Home via “north central” London, then Park Lane and via Knightsbridge to Hammersmith, then picking up the M4 to Reading and then Newbury, Hungerford, Marlborough, Devizes, Salisbury Plain to Tilshead and home.
