A stay (in a Shepherds Hit) at the excellent Elmley National Nature Reserve on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent. Though very cold for the time of year, we enjoyed a long walk to the Spit End Hide and over the course of the weekend, ticked off some great wildlife sightings – mostly birds. We also journeyed out for some pub grub at a nice little village at the end of a road called Conyer. Highly recommended!
