In early October, I went on a last minute diving “day out” to Chesil Beach in Dorset. It was one of those clear, still and mild autumn days. Underwater, visibility was reasonably good, too. We did a couple of dives and I captured some interesting shots of dive my buddies Jon and James.
We visited the Norwegian capital of Oslo in late October which provided a chance for a little photography. There were no images that I would consider stunning, but we did capture a few that were pleasing. It must also be said that we’re continuing to enjoy the Nikon D200. A couple of weeks later, we visited the Westonbirt Arboretum. I decided to spend most of the time experimenting with a combination of rear curtain sync flash, slow shutter speeds and panning or zooming to capture the autumn colours in a different way. I was pleased with some of the results, some of which can be seen on the site – JC
