Fuzz and I enjoyed a European motorcycle road trip, that served as a precursor to something more ambitious for 2024 (Iceland).
We covered circa 3200 miles and visited eight countries (France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Czech, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland), found some great roads and stayed in some great towns.
In terms of roads, we included the Grossglockner Pass, the Furka Pass and the Grimsel Pass in our itinerary, and for towns we especially enjoyed staying at Rothenburg ob der Tauber (Germany) and Cesky Krumlov (Czech Republic). For our doses of wildlife, we visited the Oostvardplassen Re-wilding project in Holland, and the Entlebuch Biosphere Reserve in Switzerland.
Photographically, I simply grabbed images along the way to document some of what we did. – JC
