This image of copper sweepers was taken in the engine room area of the Ghiannis D in the Egyptian Red Sea. It’s easy to get carried away with sweepers and be overwhelmed by the sheer number of fish, rather than their aesthetic value, so I spent quite a lot of time trying to get a good exposure for the blue water and a suitably subtle flash setting, and then work on composition, and capturing the fish in a pleasing formation. This image was the result of my patience and was taken on 24th June 2008 using a Nikon D200, 10.5mm fisheye lens at 1/125, f8 ISO400.
