It’s Dive Club night in Melksham

A nice long weekend for Jeremy and Amanda in Amsterdam. A chance to visit the Van Gogh Museum, the Anne Frank Museum, the Bols Musuem and the Sex Musuem! A chance for a bit of photography too

A nice walk from Bournemouth to Hengistbury Head and back. Later in the year we would walk from Bournemouth to Sandbanks and back (twice).

A visit to the Autosport Show at the NEC in Birmingham.

A “New Year” visit to the Divezone Dive Club in Melksham.

A week in American city of Atlanta in the state of Georgia. We enjoyed a busy trip which included the Georgia Aquarium, the Coca Cola Museum, Zoo Atlanta, the Andretti Raceway, the Natural History Museum, the CNN Centre and Rush in concert. We also joked up with an old friend who now lives there!

Zac completes a sponsored kilometre underwater, raising money for Rockhopper Penguin Conservation. He made the news!

A visit to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, which was Zac’s first. Mark Webber nails it!

Jeremy takes a trip to Bali, staying at the lovely Scuba Seraya Dive Resort at Tulamben. Great diving on the Liberty Wreck and other sites. Great critters to photograph, so the macro lens had plenty of use.

Zac continues his dive journey, at Melksham ,rather than Bandos.

An excellent 10 days on the Maldivian island of Bandos. Great diving, very chilled, totally recommended!

A trip to a very cold New York. Great few days doing the things that people do in New York!

Three excellent days in Hong Kong, one of the world’s most spectacular cities.

Leaving Cairns for Hong Kong the “long way round” via Sydney.

A trip to the Undara Lava Lodge in the “outback”, passing through Mareeba, the Atherton Tablelands, Ravenshoe and Mt. Garnet.

Back from Cooktown and into the Daintree rainforest, staying at the Lync Haven Rainforest Retreat.

A trip up to Cooktown, via the inland route.

A dive day out on Agincourt Reef from Port Douglas, onboard the Silver Sonic.

Onboard the Spirit of Freedom liveaboard for a “fly dive” trip to Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea and the Ribbon Reefs of the Great Barrier Reef.

Up to Mossman Gorge for a trek in the forest.

A trip to Kuranda on the Skyrail.

Up to the rainforest at Daintree, including a river trip to see some “salties” and a wander in the forest iself.

On a 2 nights, 3 day Great Barrier Reef liveaboard with Pro Dive Cairns.

The long journey is over, relief to get into our apartment in Cairns.

Overnight to Cairns, with a touchdown en route in Darwin.

At London Heathrow, setting off to Australia via Singapore.

Amanda wins the monthly BSOUP (British Society of Underwater Photographers) competition. The theme was “Anemone Fish” with the winning image taken at St.John’s in the Egyptian Red Sea.

A visit to Jersey, to dive and photograph the excellent Bouley Bay in great conditions. The Bouley Bay Dive Centre were extremely friendly and paired me up with massively enthusiastic local underwater photographer Kirk Truscott, which was great.

A visit to London for the monthly British Society of Underwater Photographers meeting.

Our first visit to the Bristol Underwater Photography Group at Patchway. A nice evening with a couple of interesting presentations.

Sorting images and creating a feature about the diving at Portland Harbour.

An attempted dive trip to Chesil Beach, sadly blown out by the weather. How the conditions can change quickly!

A visit to Portland Harbour, diving the Countess of Erne, the Landing Craft and the Bombardon Unit. Nice day and very good visibility by Portland standards.
