First service for the new BMW GS1200 Adventure Te at Bahnstormer in Alton & ready for a few days of motorcycling.

An afternoon ride on the new machine – a rough loop to get some mileage ahead of the first service. The journey took me via Frome, Shepton Mallet, Somerton, Langport, Taunton, Exeter, Honiton, Axminster, Chard, Crewkerne and back up the “303”.

A weekend diving at the “cuttlefish hotspot” of Babbacombe Bay near Torquay in Devon. Though we missed the “peak” of the cuttlefish season (possibly by 2-3 weeks – it’s not an exact science!), we enjoyed good conditions. A nice weekend to start the season.
