A “birthday” weekend in London taking in music, a meal at the Hutong restaurant at the Shard and general sightseeing.

24th – 26th February

A weekend at the coast staying in Bournemouth. A chance for some fresh air and photography, mainly concentrating on a few ideas concerned with depth of field.

18th February

A visit to the Garston Wood RSPB Reserve, and a quick check out of the Martin Down National Nature Reserve to look for the first emergence of adders (though it was warm enough, I didn’t see any – probably too late in the day). A chance for a bit of photography, but mostly I looked… Continue reading 18th February

A chilly visit to the Wareham Forest, especially in the Morden Bog National Nature Reserve area. A chance for a bit of photography.

A visit to Penzance in Cornwall to seek the summer visiting Basking Sharks with Charles Hood. On the “travel… Continue reading 19th – 21st June

12th – 14th June

A thoroughly enjoyable motorcycling trip around the coast of East Anglia. The trip started by a stopover in Guildford to get recall and an MOT on “the machine”. 2nd June

Though started some time ago, we revisited some previous work – a supplement and brochure centred around our dive travels in Eastern Australia between 2007 and 2010. The new proof looks good.

An overnight stay in London, taking in a gig at the iconic Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club (this time the incredible Pat Martino).

An excellent motorcycling weekend Wales. The biking in earnest started in the Wye Valley, staying in Tintern on the Friday night. After that, some brilliant… Continue reading 8th – 10th May

Jeremy and Zac trek the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s sponsorship flagship the Sarsens Trail (the Neolithic marathon) from Avebury to Bulford near Stonehenge. It was a tough 26 mile walk in rain, sun and thunder and lightning. Jeremy later lost both big toe nails thanks to this!
